We are under one month until one of our biggest weeks of the year - Rendezvous Royale.

We're busy putting the final touches on Cody High Style and the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale. Kathy Thompson (BBAS), Jill Osiecki (High Style) and a large team of volunteers make these events come to life every year, and I'm exceptionally proud of the work they do. This year is going to be bigger and better than ever!

Schedule and what's new:

One important change is that all Cody High Style events will be held in the Cody Auditorium (1240 Beck Ave.) starting with the always popular Fashion Show, Wednesday, September 18. Tickets are $35 and the show runs at 5:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m., followed by an after party at 9 p.m. (which is open to the public.)

This runway fashion show presents western couture collections from both up-and-coming and established fashion designers and features plenty of local models!

The fun continues Thursday, September 19 with the High Style Premier Buyer's Event and Reception. This is your first chance to view and have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind western furniture and accessories. Reservations are required and the cost is $35 and includes a hosted bar and hors d'oeuvres.

The Cody High Style furniture exhibition then continues at the Auditorium daily from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. through Sunday, September 22nd.

The Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale Live Auction will be held Friday, September 20 at 6 p.m. in the "big tent" at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Over 100 paintings and sculptures will be auctioned with the proceeds going to the Center of the West, the Cody Chamber and local arts organizations.

At 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, the "Quick Draw" will be held outside on the Pow Wow Grounds at the Center. Over 60 artists have just one hour to create their work of art, which is then auctioned. With our silent auction items and Mini Sale also taking place, it's a great opportunity to purchase outstanding Western Art. For more information on all of the events, tickets or to find out how you can get involved, call the Chamber today!

Our next Cody Club - September 9th - will feature an update on these two events so join us at 12 p.m. at the Cody Club room to find out more.

Ambassador's

One group that's been working hard the past few weeks are the Chamber Ambassador's. This group of dedicated volunteers welcomes new businesses to town, holds ribbon cuttings and serves at events.

Recently many of them spent time welcoming the Cycle Greater Yellowstone riders to town and more than one rider said it was the most enthusiastic reception they received along the entire route. Thanks Ambassadors for all you do for the Chamber!

c2b

Our next c2b (Cody Business Breakfast) will be held next Friday, September 6 at 7:30 a.m. at the Sunset House. Come enjoy breakfast, networking and a chance to hear from Chamber member Wendy Corr about her business, Wander Wyoming.

Just a reminder that the Chamber offices will be closed on Labor Day, however the Visitor Center will continue to be open daily from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. through September 28th. Have a great weekend everyone!
