That's a Grape Question!

This column will feature a new wine question or fun fact each month!

DeChaunac grapes ripe

How should I store my wine?

We use natural corks, so you will want to keep the cork wet. This can be done my storing the bottle on its side.

 One is the loneliest number

The Stu stands alone. It's been a busy month, and the Foch is in the carbonic maceration tank, Nouveau-ing away, while only some of the under-ripe shock berries remain on the Golden Muscat vines; hopefully a 2013 Muscato will result. The seasonal harvesting pattern leaves a (hopeful, fingers X-d) Vidal Blanc for Ice Wine to follow the late fall familiar, Steuben. Octobrrrrr is here.
