On the heels of a RAND Corporation study that showed that America's math teachers overwhelmingly prefer Eureka Math in their classrooms, the curriculum is now getting some love from the blogosphere. Thank you, teachers, for spreading the word about your students' success.

Good News Travels Fast
Over at Education Week, the RAND study caught the attention of their "Curriculum Matters" blog, which noted how elementary and secondary educators say they're using EngageNY/Eureka Math "more often than any of the commercial publishers."

We're so pleased to see the positive feedback the RAND study is getting on Twitter. When four in 10 teachers say they prefer Eureka Math, that's definitely worth tweeting about. We're @eureka_math on Twitter.

Math and Computer Science
Eureka Math earned a mention in this Edutopia article about how a strong math background is key to a successful understanding of computer science. The article praises Eureka Math's knowledge-rich curriculum for "connecting math to the real world in a way that helps build student confidence."
Seeking Partner Districts To Pilot Eureka Math
The Great Minds team is seeking a partner district interested in participating in a controlled trial that will examine Eureka Math's impact on student achievement. The district must be new to Eureka and must have at least 36 elementary schools that could pilot Eureka Math for two years. The pilot will provide professional development and the necessary Eureka materials at no cost. If you know of a district that might be interested in this opportunity, please contact Lynne Munson.
Getting Results
On the website Education Post, teacher Saffron VanGalder extols the virtues of Eureka Math for the results she's seeing among her third- and fourth-graders. A Eureka Math writer herself, she says the curriculum develops true understanding of basic arithmetic concepts, and avoids the pitfalls of rote memorization.
