Eureka Writers' Exercise Is a Silent Dialogue
We recently had a "Silent Conversation" in New Orleans where writers of Eureka Math opened up about their thoughts on Eureka's real value.

Eureka Writers Have Collaborative "Conversation"
At a recent retreat, the Eureka Math team was asked, "What distinguishes Eureka from other math curricula?" Instead of responding aloud, Director of Mathematics Jill Diniz asked our teacher-writers to write their ideas on chart paper throughout the room. They wrote: it is consistent and coherent; it was written as a collaboration between teachers and mathematicians; it maintains a balance of rigor; it is intentional and deliberate. This "Silent Conversation" was designed ensure an equality of voice among our diverse team of PK-12 educators. Find out what they wrote and discussed, and make your own comments, by clicking here.

Be Mine, Math Valentine
Valentine's Day can be more than just a chance to exchange cards and candy. For some of our Eureka Math teacher-writers, it's yet another way to make math fun for their students. They have created a collection of Valentine's Day-themed math resources for teachers to use with their students. Click here to see what they created.
