Talking Eureka Math in New York.
Eureka Math writer and former 5th grade teacher Adam Baker recently talked to a New York State United Teachers task force about the curriculum he helped write. He blogged about his great experience here. Among the topics: ensuring that all educators understand that the instructional materials aren't to be used as a script and the relationship between EngageNY and Eureka.
New professional development session.
Preparation and Customization of Eureka Math Lessons is an in-person session that will prepare teachers to make informed instructional choices and customize their lessons to meet the specific needs of their students.
