Dear ARZA Canada member,
Keeping you informed of serious events in Israel not covered in our local media - on Thursday three youths (aged 16 to 19) were kidnapped near Gush Etzion in the West Bank. The IDF has surrounded nearby Hebron, is combing the area and conducting house-to-house searches.

No group has taken responsibility. At this time there isn't confirmation of who kidnapped the boys, where they're located or even whether they're alive. However the government is certain that the professional operation was conducted by Hamas, and has taken 80 West Bank members of Hamas into custody. Hamas denied responsibility.
