I' d like to let you know about a very engaging Israel education program that is being held over the next 3 weeks at Holy Blossom.
Rabbi Lawrence Englander is teaching a course entitled-
Reform Zionism: What is our Unique Vision for Israel
Thursdays Nov 21,29 and Dec 5.
Here is a brief description of the course :
There is a liberal expression of religious Zionism, championed by our Reform movement. This course will explore the teachings and activities of religious Zionism, on the right and the left, both in Israel and in the Diaspora. Our own impressions and opinions will add to the "platform" of Reform Zionism, still taking shape.
Rabbi Englander is a dynamic and knowledgeable teacher and the course is being presented using a variety of media. Please take a look at this very short video to see Rabbi Englander explain the course. Link to video.
The course is being held Thursdays at 7:30 pm on Nov 21, 29 and December 5.
Each class has self-contained topics so that you can attend any one of them if your schedule does not permit you to come to all three.
