Crank it up for the National Center!

The National Center is excited to participate in the third annual Amplify Austin ~ a 24-hour, online giving festival. This philanthropy event is a fantastic awareness-building and fundraising opportunity for NCDSV and our work.  We so appreciated everyone who donated the last two years and hope they and YOU will give this year!

Here's how it works.
Between 6:00 pm on March 5 and 6 pm on March 6, every donation of $25 and above you make to the National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence will be AMPLIFIED, matched out of a pool of funds already donated to I LIVE HERE, I GIVE HERE for Amplify Austin.

Just visit Amplify Austin/NCDSV and click "Donate Now" to make your gift.  To make it easier for busy people, you can schedule your contribution anytime before March 6 and it will count for the amplification period!

Amplify Austin has acknowledged the support the National Center supplies in the Austin community for ending domestic and sexual violence, working in tandem with SafePlace, Texas Council on Family Violence, Texas Association Against Sexual Assault and Austin / Travis County Family Violence Task Force, among others.

Your tax-deductible donation will go a long way to support our vital efforts. So get ready to crank it up!  We sincerely hope we can count on your participation and generosity.
NCDSV Continues Partnership with the IPV Prevention Council

The National Center is continuing its leadership and consultation role with the IPV Prevention Council.  This year's focus for NCDSV is primarily administrative support, as the Council continues to strengthen its leadership on behalf of state and territorial coalitions, in cooperation with the National Network to End Domestic Violence and the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence. Reports on the usage of PreventIPV, the IPV Prevention Council's website, have shown that linking from the National Center's website is a significant way people are finding the remarkable website full of tools for those initiating and expanding prevention activities in their communities.
