Help girls earn their highest awards

Gold Award, Silver Award, and Bronze Award resources are online at http://kansasgirlscouts.org/about-girl-scouts/awards/ and available for girls and volunteers to read at their own pace.

Important details:

  1. All girls interested in the Gold and Silver must submit a proposal to awards@gskh.org prior to starting their project.
  2. If funds are needed girls must submit a money earning or donation form to awards@gskh.org for approval
  3. After the committee has approved the proposal girls may begin their project
  4. Gold Award mentors are selected by the Gold Award committee
  5. After project completion girls must submit a final report to awards@gskh.org to receive approval for the award
  6. Troops may work on the Bronze or Silver, but the Gold Award is an individual project
  7. Projects may not benefit the Girl Scouts
  8. Troops must submit the Bronze Award Project Report to awards@gskh.org for approval to purchase pins

As always anyone can contact awards@gskh.org with questions or for more information about the highest awards.

Share YOUR stories

What have girls been up to?

Not every Girl Scout Troop meets over the summer - but, girls have definitely been doing fun and amazing things with the support of caring volunteers like you! Troops have planned trips with cookie proceeds, service units have planned and hosted day and overnight camps, and girls have been attending summer activities around the state!

Please share your stories and photos from Girl Scout summer activities! Girls, parents, and volunteers can submit stories and pictures on our website here.

You may find your story shared in an upcoming newsletter or online. Let's celebrate all that Girl Scouting has to offer!
