June 2013
Week 2

Online Registration

You can't beat this value!

Please make sure that all the Girl Scout families you know submit their 2014 Girl Scout registration before the June 30 Early Bird deadline? Why? Because girls who register online before June 30 will pay only $5 for a one-year Girl Scout membership! The registration fee is $15, and girls receive $10 in cookie credits.

Parents and Troop Leaders both can complete Girl Scout Membership registration ONLINE.  To use the new system for the first time, anyone who has ever been a registered Girl Scout through GSKH, or the parent of a registered Girl Scout, must ACTIVATE their account through the online system.  Only those who have never been entered into the GSKH system need to choose CREATE ACCOUNT.  Need help? Check out this 5-minute how-to video!

Troop Leaders: when registering any new troop members online, please continue to collect a paper registration form with a parent/guardian signature for new girl registrations, and an adult's own signature for new adult registrations.  Indicate on the form that the registration has been submitted online.  These forms can be turned in to your closest GSKH office or mailed directly to the Wichita Girl Scout Center.  Remember, the online registration system gives troop leaders quick and easy access to their troop roster, and also allows for simple payment using a credit or debit card.  If you have questions, contact your regional office or our online registration Help Desk.

Kirsten Leach 2013 My job at GSKH is: to design whatever we need - flyers, Shout Outs, and the GPS, as well as billboards, yard signs, graphics for the website, business cards, and more!

I love Girl Scouts because: though I was never presented with the opportunity to participate as a girl myself, I know that what we do for girls is very positive and I would want my daughter(s) to one day be a part of this organization (if I have any). I realize that Girl Scouts may not be able to replace what girls may be taught at home or at school, but it can still make a difference.

When I'm not here, you'll find me: Planning my wedding, which is coming up on June 15th! After wedding planning you'll probably find me reading a book or hanging out with friends/family.
