Spotlight On: Stephanie Gaskill, Director of Youth Leadership
Get to know your council support
In a typical week at GSKH (if there is such a thing!), you will find me working with the Youth Leadership Development team planning activities for girls across Kansas, using the Girl Scout Pathways and incorporating the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
I love being a Girl Scout because I have the opportunity to work with amazing people.
When I'm not here, you'll find me spending time with my family and other half, and traveling.

2013 Cookie Sale is a HUGE Success!
 | Abilene Girl Scouts at their first Cookie Booth! |
Congratulations to Girl Scouts and volunteers for an outstanding 2013 Cookie Sale. As you know, this year the Cookie Sale transitioned to a direct sale format. The result was an 18 percent increase in sales with over 1.7 million packages of cookies sold. On average girls sold 216 packages this year compared to 168 packages last year. We are so proud of the Girl Scouts for their achievements.
We will be celebrating with the Top Girl Scout Cookie Sellers at the 1000+ and 500+ Events. A record 68 Girl Scouts sold 1,000 packages or more and 614 girls sold 500 packages or more. These Girl Scouts will receive a special invitation to attend the event of their choice:
- Saturday, April 27 in Emporia
- Saturday, May 4 in Hays
