Raise your hand if you attended the 2012 Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and GSKH Annual Meeting! Everyone had such a great time last year that we're gearing up to do it again!
GSKH will host regional breakfast events where Volunteer Award recipients will be recognized by staff, peers, and their families. After that, we'll take care of council business at the Annual Meeting, held via videoconferencing. Look for further details soon, but mark your calendars today!

Volunteer-In-Pairs
All Girl Scout volunteers are very important people, but we're looking for a new kind of V.I.P. Everything is more fun with a friend, so Volunteer-In-Pairs! Beginning now, through the end of the Girl Scout year, when you recruit a NEW adult to volunteer with your troop or service unit, we'll give you a pair of Girl Scout ear-buds AND an iTunes gift card. More volunteers help to serve Kansas girls better - and that's music to everyone's ears!

Finance Reminder
Please submit donations over $25 for official receipt
Volunteers, remember to track any Girl Scout income and expenses carefully. If your troop/group receives donations (at a Cookie Booth, for example) remember that a donation over $25 must be submitted to GSKH so we may send a tax receipt and acknowledgement of the donation. The donation will be turned over to the troop/group who received it. For more details on troop and group finances, check out Volunteer Essentials.
