| Holding the Vision for New Growth |
Spring is here and we are all eager to witness new growth in nature as well as in our own lives. I look eagerly for the leaf buds on the trees. I know they take their own time and don't doubt they will be here. You can think of your goals and ideas as these budding leaves that are about to come through.
When we have an idea of something we want in our lives - a new career, relationship, or health change - it exists already on an intellectual and emotional level. We can talk about it with others and even feel the excitement in our bodies. But every idea must take time to manifest. Bob Proctor, featured in The Secret, discusses this necessary "growth period" as a Universal Law called the Law of Gender. All things must manifest as we vision them, but they must take their own time to incubate and grow. When you find that the goal has not been realized by the date you set, you can acknowledge it as merely your incorrect guess, and continue to believe that the goal is still on its way. You reset the date and hold the vision. Bob Proctor recommends saying an affirmation (words with vision) to help with this waiting period. It is important to put all affirmations in present time and include gratitude, emotion and details. For example: "I am so happy and grateful now that I enjoy wonderful friendships, thriving health and increasing quantities of abundance from a variety of sources effortlessly on a consistent basis." You can create your own affirmation. The more you say it, the more the seed of your idea can be nurtured to manifest. Enjoy your Growth Period! |
