What's New in Senior Health?
Government site revamped with new look, more information

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Senior Health website was recently redesigned to make finding information on a variety of health topics easier for older adults.

Mia Ashbrook, a first-grader at Resurrection School in Evansville, was challenged by her teacher to take part in a service project.  Each child in the class was given $5.00 and asked to see what he or she could do with that money to help others.  After talking with her parents and grandparents, Mia decided to raise money for the John and Betty Charlier Hospice Center at VNA Plus, where her great-grandfather, Charles Emmerson, had been lovingly cared for. Her mother helped her bake cookies to sell to friends and family.
