Are you or do you know someone interested in learning more about the pathway to becoming a school principal?  If so, join this small group discussion directed by Dr. Jan Irons Harris, Principally Speaking Network Director, and Auburn University Professor Dr. Linda Searby on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  Light breakfast snacks will be provided.

How to Start a Cyber Program in your School

Collaboratively, Alabama State Board of Education Member Mary Scott Hunter, UAH, Northeast Alabama Community College, The Schools Foundation, Auburn University, ISSA, and NSA will host, "How to Start a Cyber Program in your School" during a special workshop the morning of July 9th.

This informative program, held on the campus of UAH, is tailored for K-12 North Alabama education administrators who are invited to explore the "How To's" of starting a Cyber Program at their school.

This event is free and will be by invitation only.

Thirteen North Alabama educational leaders met on April 21st at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce to participate in the discussion, "So you want to be a superintendent?" led by Dr. Jan Irons Harris, Director, Principally Speaking Network.  Ten school districts were represented at this 2nd annual professional learning event hosted by The Schools Foundation.  Topics discussed included requirements, resources, interviewing, media relations, contracts and first days/planning.
