Dinner with Your Neighbors
Monday, November 10, 2014
5:30 - 8:30 pm
Jack's Fortune Restaurant
960 Bay Ridge Road
(Giant/Bay Forest Shopping Center)

Get to know your neighbors at another super fundraiser for Arundel-on-the-Bay, this time at Jack's Fortune Chinese Restaurant. Several neighbors recommended Jack's Fortune for our next dinner, so Toni Ray made the arrangements. Toni donates her local-grown bamboo shoots and in return, Jack's owners will make a contribution to the AOTB social fund as well as having a special surprise treat for us!

Check out Jack's menu here.

Join us in supporting your community's social gatherings as well as promoting one of our sponsor businesses. Of course, the primary function of all our events is helping our neighbors get to know each other better, so everyone is encouraged to attend. We enjoyed great success at our last dinner at the Caliente Grill and the tiny restaurant was packed. The owners, Roxana and Raul Rodriguez, made a very generous donation to AOTB, so please continue to support them.

Please call or email me with the number of your party so we can let the owners know how to set up their tables.

Reminder!
3rd Annual AOTB Pre-Trick or Treat Party

Halloween is Friday! This year the Morrison family will host the 3rd annual AOTB pre-trick or treating party. The party will start at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 31, and will be held at 3523 Rockway Avenue. $10/family for pizza/soda. This party is open to the community, but a head count is needed (for pizza purposes). Please email [email protected] if you plan to attend.

If you plan to be home on Halloween and you plan to give out candy, please email [email protected]. An identifying object, a special luminaire, will be given to each house that will have candy. The luminaire, which will be delivered to each house after October 23, should be put out on Halloween. No "map" of homes with candy will be created (for security purposes).

Why do this you ask?  Because porch lights don't seem to do the trick and quite frankly, last year a lot of unsuspecting neighbors got surprised! :)

This year we hope to have a fabulous turnout and continue a great AOTB tradition! See you there!!
Another Halloween reminder:
You've been given an extension until then for the AOTB Directory

Your directory guru, Sheri Reno, has generously extended the deadline for receiving your edits to the AOTB directory that will be printed very soon.

So, this is IT, really! You MUST get your information to Sheri by Halloween, Friday, October 31.

Read here to understand why it's important.

Click here to see the directory, in the members-only section of the website, and send any changes to Sheri Reno at [email protected], or 410-224-5518, by Halloween!
