Keep Your Docks Locked
One of our neighbors has reported a break-in incident at her residence on Chestnut Avenue. The trespassers entered her unlocked vehicle (parked under her carport) between the hours of 1-5 a.m. late Thursday evening or early Friday morning. They rummaged through the glove box and console and took a wallet filled with information such as insurance cards and store cards. They did not take any valuables in the car but did leave the vehicle door ajar and littered Chestnut Avenue with the personal information that was in the wallet. No other property in her yard was disturbed. She believes that this was the work of a few neighborhood kids looking for loose change and money in unlocked cars.
She asks that if you come across what seems like personal information or her wallet (gold leather with butterflies) you call her at 410-375-5712.
Neighbors, please keep your homes and vehicles locked at all times. It is tempting to keep windows open in the summertime, but don't give anyone the opportunity to commit a crime.
If you are the victim of a crime please call 911 first to report the crime and then let us know so we can alert the neighborhood.
