D.C. Express Track Club Announces 2013 Hall Of Fame Class

Inductions Will Take Place during the Club's
 
2013 Awards Dinner on August 17

Decatur, Georgia - D.C. (DeKalb County) Express Track Club is proud to announce that former athletes Andrea (Pappas) Ausmus, Kelly Carter and Rita (Evans) Whidbee, along with administrators Gloria Green and Charles Prather will make up the Club's 2013 Hall of Fame class. The group will be inducted on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Courtyard by Marriott Decatur Downtown, 130 Clairemont Avenue, Decatur, Georgia 30030 as part of the Club's annual awards dinner. 
 
 The evening will begin with a seated dinner and culminate with the presentation of D.C. Express' most prestigious awards. Current athletes of the club will be recognized and then the 2013 Hall of Fame class will be inducted based on their historic accomplishments or contributions to the Club.
 
 Coach O, a leader in online registration, event management and supplier of track & field equipment, is lending support as a named sponsor for the 2013 Hall of Fame induction ceremony. In providing sponsorship for the induction ceremony Charles Oliver aka Coach O, founder and owner of Coach O, continues his long standing commitment to support and recognize grassroots track and field programs.
 
 The D.C. Express Track Club Hall of Fame was established in 2009, the 25th year of the organization, to recognize those individuals who have made impressive contributions to the club by virtue of their athletic and academic accomplishments while participating in the program, or on the collegiate level; or for their contributions to youth development, or support of the club; or as alumni who have gone on to produce successful careers as model citizens and significant contributors to the betterment of society.
