Accessibility Tips and Tricks
Working with Scanned PDFs Working with scanned PDFs can be tricky, especially when you want to make sure the document is accessible. Luckily, Adobe Acrobat DC has a great tool to help identify and correct accessibility issues in scanned documents. You will find the Enhance Scans tool under Tools on the menu bar. Using this tool you can: - Begin a scan (if you have a scanner at your workstation)
- Deskew a crooked scan
- Remove background noise
- Recognize text
- Sharpen text
To learn more, check out Lynda.com's tutorial Creating Accessible PDFs with Acrobat DC.
