JULY 2014
:)   :)   :)   Summertime Smiles   (:   (:   (:

I hope you're enjoying a beautiful summer! Here are a few things to bring some fun, summertime smiles!

New in the L.e. Diamond Gallery  :)

This smiling ostrich is here to introduce you to the new Flighty Friends section in the L.e. Diamond Gallery!

Also visit the Small Wonders section to see a backstage view of a peacock show, butterflies in love and a bird who's tickled pink!

In the Poems and More section, you'll find a new little poem about the trouble with vanishing pools called "Gone Swimming." ;)

New at Listeners Unite: "Like a Girl"  :)

Have you heard about the new "Like a Girl" campaign? How is it that throwing, running and kicking "like a girl" has become an insult in our culture? Think about how that would sound and feel to a young girl who's just beginning to discover what she can do. It's time to change the common misuse and distortion of that phrase so that girls can take pride in what it really means to do things "like a girl." Click here to read all about it!
.
Poetry, Inspiration and Iowa City!  :)

More poetry coming soon! For now, Jeff and I are getting ready to head back to the Iowa Summer Writing Festival. We love this festival and Iowa City, itself. What an inspiring place to be! Click here to take a little summer photo stroll through Iowa City.

Wishing you joy, inspiration and summertime smiles!

Linda
