HAPPY START TO THE HOLIDAY SEASON!

Almost holiday time! This year is a very unusual holiday for all of us who celebrate Hanukkah, as the first day falls on Thanksgiving (a coincidence so rare, it won't happen again for 70,000 years)! Of course, this unusual blending of holidays is being called Thanksgivukkah.  :)

But first... I'd like to announce the expansion of my Amazon Book Page and the Grand Opening of two online bookstores The Listeners Unite Bookshop and The Beauty of Picture Books Bookstore! If you love listening, poetry, movies and/or children's picture books, read on...

& Some Favorite Poetry Books & Films!

One of the things we love to do during the holiday season is watch great movies! This inspired me to add "favorites" lists to my Amazon book page. Here you'll find some of my favorite movies (about 100) along with a handful of favorite books!

LU Bookshop

The Listeners Unite Bookshop is filled with listening resources, including many books by my International Listening Association friends! The bookshop is divided into 10 major sections, including General Listening, Kids & Families, Business,  Creative Inspiration & More! You'll also find a section of fun stuff, including great listener plush dolls--from Horton (of "Horton Hears a Who") to Freud!

LB Bookstore

The Beauty of Picture Books Bookstore was created by our friend, Little Bear, Creative Director of The Beauty of Picture Books Website & Blog! The Bookstore lists tons of fabulous picture books and highlights many that have received formal honors. (Little Bear has been taking some down time from the blog, but he'll be back in January! In the meantime, he's re-sharing previous posts on his Facebook and Twitter "Beauty of Picture Books" pages!)
