Poetry, New Listening Posts, and Poet Tree Leaves in the Breeze

Hello friends and welcome to all new subscribers! This month's features are a new poetry post about words, new posts about listening, and--in celebration of fall--poet tree leaves blowing in the breeze.

POETRY POST
At Your Daily Poem Website

My poem, Wrds, from The Beauty of Listening, was featured by Your Daily Poem with the following email introduction: "While Linda makes light of what the word world is coming to in this age of speed and technology, there's an alarming truth to her humorous predictions. Already we've seen cursive writing removed from the classroom; could our 'frivolous . . . sprawling words' be next?"

If you love words, click here to visit the poem,Wrds. You might also want to scroll down to the comments to feel the camaraderie with other word lovers.

POET TREE LEAVES BLOWING IN THE BREEZE
At Logan Botanic Garden in Scotland

If you follow me on Facebook and Twitter, you may have seen my post about an open call to send short poems for a Poet Tree in Scotland. The poems were hung and photographed as leaves on the tree. I contributed two leaves, which are now on my Poetry Library page. You can also see the posting of the last leaf on the tree here and the Poet Tree leaves blowing in the breeze here.
.
Wishing you a beautiful day filled with poetry blowing in the breeze.  :)

As always, thanks for listening!
