The CMHI Annual Meeting of Members will take place April 1 and 2, 2014 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, British Columbia, in conjunction with the National Conference of the Canadian Home Builders' Association, April 3 to 5, 2014.
The meeting will include presentations and discussions on changes to codes and standards, regional and joint association activities, the economic forecast and more.

| FACTORY-BUILT STATISTICS | | Survey Under Way
CMHI and the Manufactured Housing Association of British Columbia, the Modular Housing Association - Prairie Provinces and the Manufactured Housing Association of Atlantic Canada are working together on a new statistics collection program. Altus Group is conducting the survey on behalf of the associations, and will be producing the annual report for 2013 in the coming weeks. Certified manufacturers: please submit your data! | CSA STANDARDS REVISION | | Technical Committee to Meet in April
The CSA Technical Committee on Factory Certification of Buildings is scheduled to meet in Ottawa April 29 and 30, 2014 to review proposed changes to the CAN/CSA A277, Z240 MH Series and Z240.10.1 standards. For information, contact CMHI.

| MHC® PROGRAM REVIEW | |  Nationwide consultationCMHI and the regional associations have launched a project to review the Manufactured Housing Consultant (MHC)® Program, beginning with a survey of key industry stakeholders and MHCs across Canada. Reid/Foster Associates is conducting the consultations and will provide recommendations on content, delivery and funding options for professional development initiatives based on the results. The report on the review will be available in July. |
