Best Leadership Strategies

Invited not once, but three times to ring the opening bell at NASDAQ, Alex helps successful leaders improve strategies, personal communication, and dicey people issues. Her techniques accelerate business success.
From economic issues to goal setting, her topics are full of high performance content, mind-boggling new ideas, and immediate application!
"As leaders grow in wisdom, insight, and integrity, companies grow," according to Alex.
Alex and her uncommon, common sense make it easier for others in companies such as ExxonMobil, BHP Billiton, or CompuCom to shine - and win business.
.... Liberty Mutual added $80MM to their bottom line. ATT (formerly SBC) won the largest telecom implementation contract in the company's history.  Venture-funded clients raised an impressive $300MM. The list goes on....

What a Stud!

And you thought graduation speeches were snoozers....

Not this one, which Navy Admiral William H. McRaven delivered to the 2014 graduating class at the University of Texas at Austin. You can watch all 20 minutes by clicking this link "Admiral McRaven's Graduation Speech," and I suggest that you do so; to see what all the buzz is about.

In case you don't know, Admiral McRaven, a UT grad as, disclaimer, am I, is also a Navy Seal, the ninth commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command, and commander of the operation that got bin Laden.

Inc. Magazine  rated it the best graduation speech in the country, and the comment posted by one observer "What a Stud!" sums it up in the best sense of the word.

P.S.  From LodeStar's point of view, it's hard to create a more memorable delivery. Besides the obvious, there are things you might not be aware of that he is doing that contribute to his success. If you'd ever like to learn more about delivering a great talk on any level for any audience, let's talk.
