Sochiro Honda's Formula for Success
Like life, speaking well is a process, not an event, requiring practice, invention, and reinvention of ourselves. People often say, "Well, I just wasn't born with that gift," and quit, assuming you have to be "born" knowing all the answers.
The founder of Honda Motors, Sochiro Honda is still admired for his brilliance, humility, and perseverance.
In spite of extraordinary challenges, which would take pages to list, failure didn't exist in his vocabulary, an attitude he instilled into the culture of the company he created.
Rather than list those failures, I offer one, wordless clip, as a kind of poetry in motion whose perfection literally was built on the backs of many crashes-since Honda ultimately became one of the most valued name in high-performance race-car engines.

I find myself enthralled by this mesmerizing clip, thanks to Dr. Barry Morguelan, who introduced it during one of his recent lectures on living a successful life.
