I Know a Lady Who Lies
And It Bothers Me
I guess that's not so unusual, since as any child knows, lying is easy.
It takes time to learn the value of not lying. Even though lies can leave destruction in their wake, the kid who stole the cookie, the kid inside us all who experiences the gut-gripping shame of being caught, has a hard time seeing the long-range, generational mutations that lying leads to.
Yes, I know a lady who lies and makes a good living at it; because there's a market for them.
It's also one reason why one of the Five LodeStars of Speaking is: Tell the truth-especially if you want to develop long-term trust and rapport.
