relaunched! the new a way to garden website (plus the bird who kept me going)

New A Way to Garden homepage

I've been putting it off and putting it off -- hoping to get a few more enhancements done, and then a few more. But Saturday I said, "Let's flip the switch," and even with some imperfections still lurking, away we go. The revamped A Way to Garden website awaits, with bigger images, easier-to-read type, and improved navigation.

Just start at the homepage and hover your cursor over any of the navigation words (like PLANTS or HOW-TO or RECIPES and such), then click around, or take a little tour starting at this page.

the indefatigable brown creeper: my inspiration

It took longer than I thought it would to get the new website good enough to go, as I said, but I kept at it -- inspired by a New Year's visit from my favorite bird, the brown creeper, who just keeps on going, going, going (despite his petite size). I'm not the only woman who has found this bird to be an inspiration: Read a charming story about a charming bird.
