Sunday Service 10:30am in the Activities Center
|
Can't make it? The full service Livestream begins at 10:30am CST... even to your mobile device! Spread the word and invite your friends. Our Youth and Family Ministries department is over in the Administration Building and our Ushers are happy to show you where to take your children. Children are always welcome in our service and if they need a break, you can take them to the Bookstore where the service is LiveStreaming.

SAM April Community Service Opportunities

Sunday, April 10th begins National Volunteer Week. Our wonderful SAM (Social Action Ministries) Team has organized several opportunities for us to come together and help out at local non-profit organizations.
Saturday, April 9th - Coldwater Clothes Closet & Food Pantry
Meet Holli Potter in the Community Center at 10:15am
Friday, April 15th - Raytown Christian Church Food Pantry
Meet John Gjesfjeld in the Community Center at 11:30am
Saturday, April 23rd - Adopt A Highway roadway clean up
Meet Dennis Smith in the Administration Parking lot at 8am
Wednesday, April 27th - Habitat for Humanity Lunch Angels
Meet Joyce Holley in the Community Center at 11am
Get your friends together and have some fun while helping out. Let's see how many volunteer hours we can give to these wonderful organizations. The SAM team will have a table set up in the Community Center after the Sunday service to answer any questions you may have.

UVC Volunteer Afternoon of Appreciation

Sunday, April 10th 
1 - 3pm at the Clubhouse
If you are a member of one of the Chapel's volunteer teams, you are invited to an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
Sunday is the last day to make your reservation and reservations are required! Sign up in the Community Center at the Activities Table. We will have pizza and a toast to all our fabulous volunteers. Bring your favorite board game or a frisbee or football to toss around. We are so grateful for all that you do!

|
First Thursdays in the Community Center. Unity Bookstore and Coffee Shop will be open with goodies to eat and refreshing beverages to drink. There will be beer and wine along with the usual Coffee Shop fare. Come and share your music, or enjoy listening.

Pastoral Training with Rev. Marianne
Sundays, April 3rd - 24th
12:30pm in The Loft over the Bookstore
(This class is offered twice annually)
Join Rev. Marianne Jones for this four week training if you have successfully completed the Prayer Class and would like to become a member of the Pastoral Team. We will incorporate the information from the Prayer Class with the opportunity to serve in UVC's Pastoral Ministry. Participants will gain experience in various areas of pastoral service including the prayer team, home and nursing home visits, and praying with the members of UVC on the phone through our "Care Call" program.
