Children are always welcome in our service and if they need a break, you can take them to the Bookstore where the service is LiveStreaming.

Begin the New Year with the power of a White Stone ceremony. We will be guided in meditation to discover a word to represent what we want to see expressing in our experience of the new year. What is the name or word Spirit will give you?
Invite your friends and family to start the year off on a high note. Can't make it in person? We will Livestream this special service.

12:30pm in The Loft over the Bookstore
Are you interested in becoming an official Member of Unity Village Chapel? Members are eligible to vote at the annual business meeting and run for election to the Board of Trustees. Join Rev. Marianne Jones to learn about the Unity movement and the Chapel's history within that movement. It is required that you attend each of the three Membership classes in order to complete the training. Members will be introduced at the January 31st Sunday Service.

A Soldier's Heart Retreat
|
 Awaken Whole Life Center Unity Village March 17th to 20th Due to the generosity of Ms. Gwen Weiner and The Eos Foundation Trust, up to 30 scholarships will be awarded for this retreat. The deadline for scholarship applications is January 15, 2016.
The scholarship award will include tuition, meals, and hotel accommodations beginning with dinner on March 17 and ending with lunch on March 20. Please pass this information on to any vet that may benefit from attending this retreat.

Name Tag You're It! Sunday, January 3rd
If your last name begins with the letters A through F you are invited to bring some finger food to share at fellowship after the service.
 Souper Sunday returns January 24th! Sign up in the Community Center to bring in a pot of your favorite soup to share. Plan on staying after the service to have bowl of warm delicious soup. This is a fundraiser for the Chapel.
 Pasta Benefit Dinner, Sunday January 31st Unity Village Chapel through SAM, our Social Action Ministry team, is hosting a Pasta Dinner to benefit ReDiscover Ladies Auxiliary and UVC.
ReDiscover is a nonprofit community mental health agency that offers a full spectrum of programs and services for people whose lives have been affected by serious mental illness and/or substance use. ReDiscover helps men, women, and children who have limited income, no insurance or who are under-insured.

Indoor Walking Tour of the Village

Are you interested in seeing more of the Village? Join this indoor walking tour through the tunnels lead by Rev. Marianne. Have you heard of the "Blue Room" but never had a chance to see it? Would you like to see where the 24 hour Prayer Vigil is held by Silent Unity? Join this tour and wear comfortable shoes.

Service on the Board of Trustees represents the highest level of sacred service accountability and consciousness. The qualifications below are set forth to attract candidates for the Board who possess leadership characteristics, have management and organizational skills, are tech and media savvy, have demonstrated an ongoing practice of regular financial giving/tithing, regularly attended Sunday service, have a history of participating in classes and workshops, and have a history of tithing their time and talent at UVC. It is the intention of the nominating team to provide candidates for the Board of Trustees who possess all of these qualities.
A mix of expertise and experience, talents, skills and characteristics are needed to be an effective board member. Particular areas of knowledge or expertise such as:
- Possess experience in providing executive organizational oversight, performing fiduciary duties, making business-level budgetary and/or other corporate/executive decisions.
- Fluent in communications, technology, and media.
- Professional experience such as people or project management, teaching and education, non-profit board experience, etc. that includes managing goals and objectives.
Applications for Board membership candidacy will be considered for eligibility by the Nominating Team only if the application is fully completed with attached bio and photo, and is received in the Chapel Office no later than 4pm on Thursday, February 11th. Applications are to be submitted to the Office via email to: unityvillagechapel@gmail.com.

- Prayer Classes, Sundays, February 7th - March 13th. Rev. Marianne leads this interactive class exploring Unity's and other various prayer modes. This is a prerequisite for joining the Pastoral Team and all six classes must be completed. These classes can be taken for SEE credit.
- Name Tag You're It! Sunday, Febuary 7th, in the Community Center. If your last name begins G through N, you are invited to bring a healthy snack to share at fellowship following the Sunday service.
