School of Rock Concert, 6pm in the Activities Center
The kids from School of Rock are putting on their annual concert in the Activities Center. Doors open at 5:30pm and the concert begins at 6pm. Tickets are $10 at the door, kids 12 and under are free. Proceeds go to benefit the School of Rock's scholarship fund and the UVC music program. Download the flier here.
Sacred Circle Music and Meditation
This group that meets the second Friday of every month in the Clubhouse from 7 to 9pm. Bring a healthy dish to share, drums, instruments, voices, etc. to create a joyful noise alternating with times of meditation. This is a sacred space for adult-like activities. A Love Offering is gratefully received and the group is facilitated by Paul McMillian.
Sisters of Myrtle Fillmore Monthly Meeting, Saturday the 15th at 9:15am in the Community Center. Gather for fellowship, refreshments, a guest speaker as well as any business that needs to be discussed

Guest Speaker Rev. Sharon Connors, Sunday the 16th at 10:30am in the Activities Center. Rev. Sharon Connors will be exploring "A Choice Worth Making & Action Worth Taking." Rev. Sharon's ability to marry innovative strategies inspires us to realize our goals and dreams. She is an author, life coach, and seasoned spiritual leader. Sharon has served the Unity movement leading ministries in Florida, San Francisco, San Diego and right here at UVC.
Prosperity Prescriptions: A Design for Living in Abundance Workshop, 12:30 to 2:30pm Room 229 in the Administration Building, Rev. Sharon will be leading this workshop to help you discover your deepest core Life Intentions. Experience a way to override internal, self-limiting thoughts. Love In Action
Harvesters, For the month of August, SAM is hosting a Harvesters Food Drive. Drop off your donations in the barrels in the Community Center. This drive ends August 30th when everything that has been donated will be delivered to Harvesters.
Hope House Urgent Need, The Hope House is requesting donations of women's and children's socks, underwear and bras, as well as diapers and wipes for infants. There are barrels in the Activities and Community Centers for your donations.
