The Thin Man
January 15
Featuring William Powell, Myrna Loy, and Maureen O'Sullivan. The title refers not to star William Powell, instead to Edward Ellis who plays the character of the mean-spirited inventor who sets the plot in motion.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
February 26
 The role of Robin Hood is played by Errol Flynn. The part of Little John was played by Alan Hale Sr. Robin Hood is already established as an outlaw at the onset of the film while Maid Marian (Olivia de Havilland) is part of the enemy camp as one of Price John's (Claude Rains) entourage. She eventually becomes a trusted ally of Robin Hood.

Shanghai Express
March 12
The third film offered this year is Shanghai Express (1932) with Marlene Dietrich, Clive Brook, and Louise Closser Hale. Deitrich certainly has her hands full in this exotic far-Eastern adventure on the Shanghai Express headed through war-torn China.

A Night at the Opera
April 2
The fourth and final movie in this year's series is Marx Brothers classic, A Night at the Opera (1935), starring Groucho Marx, Harpo Marx and Chico Marx. Considered by many to be the Marx brothers' best film.
