Art of War: Posters Promoting Service and Sacrifice
Friday- March 1, 5-7PM

Come enjoy a First Friday event! More than 60 diverse and dynamic posters from World War I and World War II trace the story of how Americans answered the call of duty, both at home and abroad. Refreshments will be provided.


Voices From the Past:
Art of War
Wednesday- March 6, 12PM

Jim Givan, guest curator of the exhibit Art of War will offer a collector/curators perspective on the museums new special exhibit. Lunchtime lecture. Doors open at 11:30 program begins at noon. Free to public.



Mystery Movie Madness:
The 39 Steps
Thursday- March 7, 7PM

Yakima Valley Museum's newest Thursday night program series-- Classic Films in the Great Hall! We will be showing The 39 Steps, Alfred Hitchcock's 1935 film of espionage, murder and betrayal. Robert Donat runs for his life, handcuffed to the girl that double-crossed him. Pizza, popcorn, snacks, and beverages available. Doors open at 6:30P.M. Movie at 7P.M. Admission $4 adv, $5 at the door.

Family Gala and Auction for the  Children's Underground
Friday- March, 15, 5-8PM

A fund-raiser for Youth Programs, Activities, and Exhibits at Yakima Valley Museum. Come enjoy hands-on activities child friendly food, silent auction, entertainment, and much more.


Voices From the Past:
Fire and Forests: East of the Cascade Divide
Wednesday- March, 20, 12PM

Photographer John Marshall will address the inevitable that Eastern Washington forests will burn. Lunchtime lecture. Doors Open at 11:30AM, program begins at noon. Free to public.


Diversions: A French Flavor
Thursday- March 28, 6PM

A Touch of Cayenne performs music and songs with a French Flair. Presented in partnership with The Seasons Performance Hall.
