Austin Summer Lunch Program

This summer The Scott County Partnership, SCSD2 and the The Food and Nutrition Department from Scott County Hospital are partnering with the Department of Education, the USDA and Gleaners to provide healthy lunches to students while on summer break. Volunteers are needed to help serve lunches.

Stepping Stones Seeking Public Ally

Stepping Stones is currently seeking an AmeriCorps Public Ally service volunteer. This service volunteer will be paid to assist Stepping Stones in both administrative and direct care duties that revolve around volunteer management and program development.  The full job description is attached.

Public Allies is a program within AmeriCorps that focuses on developing young leaders and will compensate you for the time dedicated to serving a nonprofit. 

This requires 4 days per week at Stepping Stones in Bloomington, and Fridays in Indianapolis at the Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center.  This is a full time position.  
Interested applicants must first apply to the Public Ally program, and then may designate Stepping Stones as a preferred site.

Public Allies believes that everyone has leadership potential and assets to contribute towards making a difference in their community. We show young leaders how to turn their passions, experiences, and commitment to making a difference in their community into a viable career path.
