New Graduate and Journey Fellow Seeking Employment
| |
Indianapolis, IN
My name is Felicia Ridle and I'm a 2015 Journey Student Fellow. I will be graduated with my Bachelors of Social Work on May 7th and I'm currently seeking employment in Indianapolis. I would like to have a full-time position with an agency, profit or non-profit, that works with youth whether it be directly or indirectly. I would like a work environment that is supportive of its employees and puts the client first.
As this will be my first position after completing college, I hope that it will provide me with a good learning environment and opportunities to grow further as youth worker and a professional.
Attached is my resume. If anyone knows of any opportunities or positions available, please let me know. I can best be reached at feliciaridle@gmail.com. Thank you! Felicia Ridle, 2015 Student Journey Fellow

The School for Community Learning is Enrolling Grades K-8 for the 2016-17 School Year
| | Indianapolis, IN
As many of you know, I have dedicated the last seven years to creating a school model that engages students deeply in community-based and project-based learning, is founded on knowing each child well, and helps children discover the gift that they are to the world. The School for Community Learning is enrolling grades K-8 for the 2016-17 school year. If you have a child (or know someone that does) that would benefit from this type of small, personalized, community-based school model, please call us to schedule a tour, visit our website, or pass the attached flyer along to anyone that might be interested. I am happy to talk to anyone personally about our school and the great things happening here. Please feel free to pass on my e-mail address. Megan Howey Hughes, 2003 Executive Journey Fellow |

Walking for Dreams
| | Indianapolis, IN May 22, 2016, 1:00 PM
Family Promise helped Maria, a 33 year-old school bus driver, when her husband was jailed. When the school year ended, so did her paychecks. She lost her housing, everything. She and her three children became homeless.
Family Promise helped Maria by providing shelter, counseling, furniture, employment, a car and most of all hope. Maria's hard work led to a supervisory position with a better salary. Her journey to independence was complete.
You can help people like Maria by joining us for Walking for Dreams on Sunday, May 22. Funds raised will benefit Family Promise and those who come to us to begin their walk of healing and hope.
Please join the Family Promise Team today. To register to walk or to donate to the walk, go to www.walkingfordreams.org.
