The Journey Source Market Place
Welcome to the Journey Source Market Place

Now is your chance to promote your talents, skills, expertise, products, services or anything you would like to share with the Journey community.

We can't wait to see what you have to offer for free or for a fee.

You can list both professional (i.e. trainings, consulting, coaching) or personal (i.e. jewelry, essential oils, scarves, dog sitting or grocery delivery service).

In addition to services, you can also sign up to be a mentor to a less experienced youth worker or start an advocacy group.

So come on, share your gifts, and complete this form by Friday, January 15th. The Journey Source Market Place will be open for business around February 15, 2016.

Introducing the Indiana Child and Youth Care Certification *CYCP*

Indiana has just joined a national certification for child and youth care workers administered by the Child and Youth Care Certification Board.

This certification will soon become the highest standard for quality as a person develops their career as a youth development professional (Youth Worker).

There are three levels of certification, descriptions and additional information can be found in this attachment.

You may sign up to take the qualifying exam here. The exam will be offered twice in January as follows:

Wednesday, January 13, 2016, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm ET at the Indiana Youth Institute, Indianapolis

Saturday, January 16, 2016, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon ET at the Central Library, Indianapolis

The fees for taking the test and completing the portfolio will be covered if you complete the process by April 1, 2016. This opportunity is for all youth workers, not just Journey Fellows.
