We are all children of chance and none can say
why some fields will blossom

2015 Academy National Trainer Summit
September 29 - October 2, 2015
Austin, Texas

This 2-day workshop will present the key components of the newly developed Youth Thrive
Framework including how the brain develops, the impact
of trauma on adolescent development, the importance
of social connections, promoting cognitive & social - emotional competence, concrete supports in times of
need, and increasing youth resilience.

The Youth Thrive framework builds on the SEARCH
INSTITUTE's 40 Developmental Assets and represents the next evolution of assets-based work that
moves beyond problem-solving to promote youth engagement, thriving and well-being.

The Academy highly recommends that all of our trainers complete the Youth Thrive Training for Trainers. We are excited to be working in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Social Policy to offer the 2-day presentation of the Youth Thrive: Protective and Promotive Factors for Healthy Development and Well-Being training followed by a 1-day training for trainers at a substantial discount.

If you would like more information about these trainings, please contact Janet at janet@thejourneyonline.org or 317-875-5756.
