Peace Learning Center Welcome Desk in need of Volunteers

Peace Learning Center, located in beautiful Eagle Creek Park, is looking for volunteers to run their Welcome Desk.  Volunteers need only to commit to one or two days a week.  Welcome Desk hours are from 10-3, M-F.  Tasks will include: welcoming guests, answering phones/taking messages, and some clerical work. Interested parties should contact Jay Horan. Volunteer park passes will be administered.

The Student Social Work Association at Indiana University East presents ReMoved, and incredibly emotional story of a 10 year old girl who navigates her way through the foster care system after being removed from her home and separated from her younger brother. The purpose of the film is to bring awareness to the importance of the foster care program and the need for quality foster parents.
