Make Some Noise!
Upstanders Unite Against Bullying

Friday, June 27, 2014 - 8:00am - 2:00pm

The Anthenaeum, Indianapolis, IN

Make Some Noise! Upstanders Unite Against Bullying is a summit for youth (ages 12-19) to help unite and empower local youth around the issue of bullying and peer mistreatment.  The goal is to connect youth with creative and inspiring ways to find their voice to speak out for themselves and others through art, music, theatre, spoken word, and creative expression.

Our event will culminate in a showcase of hope, support, and creativity. The day will be divided into two 50 minute sessions, with teens able to choose a morning and afternoon session. Each breakout will be creative and open for real communication, with the goal of having some product (whether a song, a piece of visual art, a poem, or a performance) to share with the larger group after lunch.

It will take place downtown at the Athenaeum on June 27 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. and will target youth ages 12-18. Only 150 slots are available for the summit. You can find a link to the registration page at www.peacelearningcenter.org/makesomenoise.
