Reducing Youth Violence & Crime:

Lunch Seminar

With the increase of youth violence in our city and summer break fast approaching, many area organizations and youth programs are increasing efforts toward reducing violence and preventing crime among young people.

Attend this luncheon to hear from several local leaders about programs, services and efforts aimed at keeping kids safe and reducing violence.

There's a new way to volunteer with youth in Elkhart County! A website, iwanttomentor.org, has just been unveiled as a collaborative one-stop shop for people who want to mentor local youth.

IWantToMentor.org includes information on Bashor Children's Home,Five Star and many other organizations and separates them into categories like tutoring, relationship-based and faith-based.
