It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost,
but the urge to serve others at whatever cost."

Working with Boys: Resistance, Relationships and Getting Real

Wednesday, May 28, 2014, 1:00pm - 2:30pm (Eastern)

Nature, nurture and culture: the more you understand about how these forces shape and affect boys' learning, the more effective you will be as an educator of boys.

Join Dr. LaMarr D. Shields for a webinar on practical strategies and techniques for modifying your classroom, programs and practices to fit boys' specific learning needs.

The webinar will conclude with a real-time panel discussion, including Q&A with webinar participants, featuring a diverse group of young male students. Leave this webinar knowing how to better engage males in a more powerful and meaningful way.

Cost:

$10 for Indiana youth workers

$30 for out-of-state or non-youth-serving professionals
