Announcing the 2014 Journey Fellowship for Students!

We are pleased to announce the Fellows for the 2013 Journey Fellowship for Students!

 

The Journey is pleased and honored to announce the 25 distinguished Indiana students with a desire and passion to work in the field of youth development. 25 students, from 8 Indiana Colleges and Universities, were nominated and selected as fellows to the 2014 Journey Fellowship for Students.

Stepping Stones, an independent nonprofit in Bloomington, is seeking an Executive Director.  The Executive Director will have overall strategic, resource development, and operational responsibility for Stepping Stones' staff, programs, expansion and execution of its mission. The main area of focus will be in fund development.

Leadership Development Program  

 

Leadership Marion County is a development series for individuals, groups and organizations who want to develop their personal leadership brand, work more effectively on project teams, and collaborate with others to meet strategic objectives.  The course covers three fundamental skill areas: Figuring out what you believe, acting appropriately on what you believe and creating value for others.

 

There are nine (9) sessions covering over 30 hours of instruction and projects over six weeks. Instruction includes six (6) daytime/evening classes and three (3) online sessions.

Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Hiring Membership Development Managers

The Membership Development Manager provides professional leadership and direct staff service to volunteers in assigned areas and serves as a liaison between the council and operational volunteers. The position actively markets the Girl Scout Program to broaden its base of community support and assures the recruitment and retention of girl and adult membership, which reflects the diversity of the council's jurisdiction. The Summit brings together more than 750 youth workers, educators, partners, and leaders to connect, learn, and share best practices on afterschool and summer learning.

The year's theme, I AM Indiana Afterschool features the latest in innovative learning, exciting keynote speakers, networking events, exhibitors, and more than 50 hands-on, engaging workshops.  Participants include afterschool and summer program staff, schools, universities, businesses, policy leaders, foundations, and partners that support learning beyond the school day.
