Jean Pointon, M.D., joins The Corvallis Clinic Behavioral Health Department

CORVALLIS - The Corvallis Clinic Behavioral Health Department is adding psychiatry services with the arrival of Jean Pointon, M.D., on Jan. 7. Dr. Pointon sees children, adolescents and adults, providing evaluation and treatment for a wide range of concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and ADHD.

 

Dr. Pointon comes from Tuscaloosa, Ala., where she has worked in private practice since 2004. She received her medical degree in 1997 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed her residency in psychiatry in 2000 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry in 2002 at the University of Texas Houston Medical School. Dr. Pointon is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry.
