When it comes to music and the arts, the right elected officials can really make a difference. But musicians need to vote! Please remember to vote on JUNE 28: that's the date of the CONGRESSIONAL PRIMARY in New York State. Local 802 has endorsed the re-election of Representatives Nadler and Maloney, and the election of current NYS Assemblyman Keith Wright. More information about the endorsements can be found on this page.

Contributing to TEMPO 802, Local 802's political action committee, is one way musicians can support our community. TEMPO is one of the vital tools in our advocacy belt, an important resource and an asset for our work with our elected partners and government officials. This tool is crucial for our work at the local and federal levels to ensure that the interests of musicians and the art community are heard, protected and strengthened. To contribute, click here.
