Show & Shine 2012
Show & Shine gives car fans chance to see classics up close and personal

 

Vintage cars will roar in Scarborough on July 21 when the Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centre's 2nd Annual Show & Shine returns to the Scarborough Town Centre in support of Rouge Valley Health System Foundation.

 

"Last year's show was a lot of fun and I think we're going to see even more cars take part this year," says Mark Silverman, Fixed Operations Manager of East-Court Ford Lincoln. "Some of the cars you will see are really going to impress you. Classic car owners take a lot of pride in their ride and we'll see some really unique and special cars taking part."

 

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and car entries are just $10 for a chance to compete for Best in Show, Best in Class and a Low Rider Award. Spectators can attend for free, but car owners wishing to compete for prizes must register the day of the show to be eligible.

Proceeds from the Show & Shine go to the Rouge Valley Centenary hospital to support the purchase of leading-edge medical equipment.  

 

Pictured: Last year's Show & Shine was a great event with spectators enjoying the chance to get up close to some classic cars and new classics brought to be displayed by East-Court Ford Lincoln.
