MDG Craft: Summertime Crafts!
|
Perfect for the fridge or your little one's wall, this cute little summer hand-print crab craft is a great way to keep busy on those rainy days.
What you need:
- Cotton Balls
- Red Paint
- Googly Eyes
- Blue and Beige Construction Paper
- Thin-tip Marker
What you do:
For your background, rip a strip of the beige paper (your little one will have fun with that!) and glue to the blue paper. Let your little one stretch out the cotton balls for clouds and glue on those.
For the hand prints, put a nice coating of paint on both hands. Make a few test prints on a scrap piece of paper first so you can help your little one get used to making prints. Then make your crab body.
Make sure the "crab" is dry (VERY) and then add your googly eyes and big smile!
It's true, you can make anything from a hand print!

This Flower Pot Crab will bring back warm memories all year long of a fun summer at the beach. What you need: - Red and pink paint
- Googly eyes
- Red foam sheet
- Scissors, glue and a ballpoint pen
- 3" standard terra cotta pot
What you do: Paint your pot red and let dry. Add pink dots (use the brush handle for even dots) and glue on your googly eyes (your kids will love that part!). Trace "claws" onto your red foam sheet and glue to body - you may need a stronger glue so a glue gun will come in handy. Let dry and display! This craft reprinted courtesy of DecoArt.

MDG WIN! Are You Ready for Some Football?
|
From a 45-foot wide panoramic projection screen that plays a signature film produced to emotionally connect the fans and the region to the Patriots, to a geodesic dome housing a Snow Bowl exhibit, to massive ceiling projection screens in the Patriots United Grand Hall presented by Waters Corp., to touch screens that take you into the most memorable moments in team history, The Hall experience is one you don't want to miss. Learn the playbook from three-time Super Bowl champion head coach Bill Belichick, go under the hood and review plays like an actual NFL official, go inside a huddle and listen to quarterback Tom Brady call plays, test your vertical jump and compare your weight to Vince Wilfork's. Block Tedy Bruschi, stand inside a duck boat used in the Super Bowl XXXVI parade, kick a field goal, and listen to never-before told stories from past Patriots. Oh, and you'll put your finger in a Super Bowl XXXIX ring and get up close with the Patriots three Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophies while confetti rains down upon you. Your Hall experience is sure to be one you'll tell your friends about. Check it out at www.thehallatpatriotplace.com.
