Best Practice in Direct Support Workforce Development

This award recognizes organizations using leading practices in direct support staff workforce development that result in improved outcomes for the people being supported.

The Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers will be hosting a free, educational meeting to show our appreciation to our members for their support. This meeting will provide helpful, relevant information regarding ADDP and challenging federal regulations. The day will include:
  • Greeting from DDS Commissioner, Elin Howe
  • ADDP 2014 Annual Report presentation by ADDP President and CEO, Gary Blumenthal. Discussion will include:
      • Accomplishments
      • What lies ahead
  • Remarks from ADDP Board of Directors Chair, Vice-Chair, and Treasurer  
  • Presentation of the ADDP Nominating Committee Report
  • Presentation regarding the HCBS Final Community Rule and other challenging federal regulations by:
