The ADDP Training & Conference Committee is seeking proposals for
Breakout Presentations.
The Committee will review and evaluate Proposals based on content value as well as expertise and speaking experience of presenter(s).
Presenters will be notified of their proposal status by December 9, 2014.
We would like to encourage proposals on the following topics:
- Meeting the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum
- Managed care or health care advocacy
- Stress Management/Relaxation Techniques (afternoon session)
- Brain injury
- Diversity
- Employment
- Community -Based Day Supports
- Changes in Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)
- Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS)
- Community inclusion strategies
- Essential technology tools for nonprofits, e.g. electronic records, cloud computing, smart board, apps.
- Direct support professionals: How to move from the front lines to management
