Gregoire  The Arc and ADDP are deeply concerned about the increasing number of children being identified with autism and related disorders. The demand for services is exceeding the capacity of current programs and Autism Resource Centers. The waiting list for individuals applying for the federal autism waiver is currently at 400 and is expected to grow substantially in the coming year. Additional funding is needed for both the waiver and Autism Support Centers.

Paul Brodeur The Arc and ADDP concur with the Governor's projected estimate for FY 15 annualization of Adult Long Term Residential (ALTR) rates begun on April 1, 2014. There may need to be further adjustments addressed as individual needs are assessed. The Arc and ADDP wish to thank the leaders of the Commonwealth for complying with Chapter 257 Rate Reform with respect to DDS Residential Services.
