We're excited to share with you that former Pax Christi USA National Coordinator and current Ambassador of Peace Nancy Small has just released a new book on nonviolence. Nancy shared that she thought of Pax Christi members in local groups as the primary readers of the book as she was in the process of writing it, hoping it would be a resource to to support and sustain PCUSA members in our work for peace. "This book is an especially good fit for PCUSA members as it delves deeply into the spirituality of nonviolence," Nancy writes. "Each chapter ends with questions for individual reflection and group discussion, making it ideal for use by small groups." The book is entitled Seizing the Nonviolent Moments: Reflections on the Spirituality of Nonviolence Through the Lens of Scripture. For more information or to order the book, click here.
Below is the e-Update for February 2015, a recap of all of the items you may have missed which are still relevant from the past month or so. We hope you'll take a few moments today or later this week to review them and use them as you see fit.
