Dear Pax Christi Local Group and Regional Leaders,
We're really excited to share with you a new book from PCUSA Ambassador of Peace and former National Coordinator Nancy Small! It is an excellent resource for individuals and small groups alike, and we hope you'll share it with your membership, colleagues, friends and family. The book is entitled, Seizing the Nonviolent Moments: Reflections on the Spirituality of Nonviolence Through the Lens of Scripture, and it is available from Cascade Books.
I asked Nancy to write a short note to you introducing the book:
Greetings of peace in this new year! I'm delighted to share with you news of a book I've written. You were the primary group of readers I had in mind as I wrote it, as I know you often look for resources to support and sustain you in your work for peace. This book is an especially good fit for PCUSA members as it delves deeply into the spirituality of nonviolence. Each chapter ends with questions for individual reflection and group discussion, making it ideal for use by small groups. I wish you every blessing in your work to promote the Peace of Christ in our world, and I thank you for sharing news of this book with others who may be interested. In peace, Nancy Small PCUSA Ambassador of Peace nancysmall318@gmail.com
